Thomas Cook’s Nordic subsidiaries have been bought for an undisclosed sum by a Norwegian hotel, a property developer and two equity funds.
Petter Stordalen and Scandinavian fund Altor have both acquired 40% of Ving group and TDR Capital controls the remaining 20%.
The new company will be called Sun Class Airlines and 2,300 jobs are potentially saved.
Stordalen told a reporters at a news conference that customer can book their holidays.
