Ukrainian intelligence service the SBU has foiled a Russian assassination plot on President Volodymyr Zelenksy after catching the assailant “red handed.”
Kyiv’s Security Service arrested a woman over the assassination plot as she was caught “red handed” trying to pass over intelligence to her Russian handlers.
The SBU have not named the woman, but confirmed she is a resident of the Ochakov region on Monday.
The intelligence services said that the woman was planning to send details of President Zelensky’s proposed trip to her handlers in Moscow for an enormous, coordinated air strike.

The Ukrainian SUB said, “The enemy informer had other goals.
“In particular, to identify the location of electronic warfare systems and warehouses with ammunition of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Ochakov region.”
