Renault names Senard as chairman and Bollore as chief executive


The French car manufacturer, Renault has, Thursday lunchtime named Thierry Bollore as the new chief executive, and Jean-Dominique Senard as chairman, splitting the appointments both previously held by Ghosn.

The announcement by Renault comes hours after Carlos Ghosn resigned from the company.

In a statement, Renault said, “The board expresses its confidence in the new leadership and wishes it every success in its mission”

Renault further said that Senard will also be in charge of the alliance with Nissan and Mitsubishi.
