Everflow, one of the UK’s leading business utility providers, has marked an impressive year of growth in 2023. The company reported total revenue of £154 million, a 33 percent increase from £116 million in 2022.

The revenue growth, coupled with a 19 percent increase in its customer base – which grew from 79,000 in 2022 to 94,000 in 2023 – underscores the effectiveness of Everflow’s customer-centric approach and the success of its multi-utility expansion.

Everflow has secured a significant 5.5 percent water market share.

In a strategic move, 2023 saw Craig Dallison assume the role of CEO, succeeding Josh Gill, who co-founded Everflow. Josh continues to play a pivotal role as a key shareholder and board member, ensuring a seamless transition and contributing to Everflow’s strategic direction.

Everflow’s growth is not confined to water services. The company ventured into the waste management sector in 2023, appointing Elliot Harrison-Holt as Director of Waste Services. In the latter half of the year its waste customer base grew by 361 percent as it expanded its initial trade waste offering to encompass clinical and confidential waste.

Other key appointments in 2023 included Sarah Yorston as People and Culture Director and Lucy Armstrong joining the board as a new chairperson. Sarah’s focus on people and culture has contributed to Everflow’s ability to attract and retain top talent in a competitive industry. Lucy is leveraging her vast experience to help Everflow to continue with its very successful growth journey.

Everflow’s commitment to sustainability was underscored by its office move to a purpose-built facility in Peterlee, Durham. The new headquarters, which are triple the size of the previous offices to accommodate for expansion into additional utility sectors, operate entirely on electric heating, eliminating the use of gas, and boast an A rating for energy efficiency. The move positions Everflow for continued growth, with plans to expand its multi-utility offering and workforce.

In a testament to Everflow’s customer satisfaction, the business had a strong customer retention rate of 97.29 percent.

Speaking on Everflow’s year, Craig Dallison, CEO, comments: “ Our mission to make utilities simpler remains at the heart of everything we do. We are focused on delivering the best utility solutions for SMEs and ensuring our continued growth and success in that mission.”

“Everflow’s dedication to innovation, sustainability, and customer satisfaction has propelled it to new heights in 2023. The business is well placed for continued success in the dynamic utilities market.”
