Fighters from the Alfa Special Operations Center have “neutralised” more than 1,500 Russian forces over the past month in the Pokrovsk region.
Hundreds of Russians have been killed and Vladimir Putin has been inflicted with some serious losses, according to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).
The SBU said that Alfa are destroying more than 20 pieces of Russian equipment daily and between 700 and 800 of Putin’s troops are being slaughtered daily as a result of his senseless full-scale war on Ukraine.
Alfa fighters undertake complex tasks in some of the most deadliest parts along the frontlines and are delivering precision strikes and are conducting operations behind enemy lines.
Over the past month the Alfa fighters have hit 39 artillery systems, killed more than 1,500 Russian soldiers, blown up 20 tanks, 62 armoured vehicles, 10 air defence systems, 8 electronic warfare and reconnaissance systems, 532 vehicles, 2 ammunition depots, 1 fuel depot and 592 Russian positions and fortifications.
The SBU said all the targets have been confirmed via video evidence and the special services operated “professionally and precisely” by using armoured piercing weapons, RBC-Ukraine reported.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that Ukrainian forces are also continuing with counteroffensive actions in Dobropillia which is a city in Pokrovsk which is seeing fierce battles.
