Top Labour donor John Mills: Corbyn does NOT have a "balanced view" on foreign policies

Labour leadership frontrunner Jeremy Corbyn has come under fire for saying Osama Bin Laden should have been put on trial instead of being killed.

In 2011, Corbyn told an Iranian Press TV show The Agenda: “There was no attempt whatsoever that I can see to arrest him and put him on trial, to go through that process,” he said.

“This was an assassination attempt, and is yet another tragedy, upon a tragedy, upon tragedy.”

Top Labour donor John Mills too has hit out at Corbyn for his comments.

Mills told LondonLovesBusiness.com: “I don’t think that Jeremy Corbyn has a balanced view about the need for the West, with all its faults, to protect itself from international movements with far worse intentions and records than those of western democratic countries.”

Mills went on to say that Corbyn’s policies will not lead to “electability” or “success even if a Corbyn government was formed”.

“Jeremy Corbyn is evidently striking a chord with many people with his anti-austerity stance and his more positive vision than those of the other Labour leadership candidates, but I am not on the same position on the political spectrum as he.

“I very much doubt whether his mixture of policies will lead either to electability or to success even if a Corbyn government was formed,” he added.
