A suicide bomb has hit Kabul Airport on Thursday afternoon injuring US troops, as evacuations are in their final phases.
There are no details to the extent of injuries, but Reuters news agency was told by an official that US service personnel are among those injured.

Conservative MP Alicia Kearns, a member of the foreign affairs and national security strategy committees said there are “many hurt” at the Baron Hotel where Afghan’s are eligible for repatriation were being processed, also many British forces and journalists are based there.
The Pentagon’s press secretary, John Kirby has confirmed the explosion in Kabul, but it is “unclear” how many casualties there are.
Kirby tweeted, “We can confirm an explosion outside Kabul airport. Casualties are unclear at this time.
“We will provide additional details when we can.”
It has been reported that an ongoing gunfight is happening outside the eastern gate of Kabul Airport.
A UK Ministry of Defence source said, “We don’t have any record of UK military casualties but it’s too early to know for sure.”
