The UK’s seventh largest energy supplier has now collapsed which will affect around 1,000 jobs and and 1.7m customers.
On Monday afternoon Bulb announced that they going into “special administration” and their 1.7m customers will be protected.
Bulb said in a statement, “We’ve made the difficult decision to support Bulb being placed into special administration.
“This process is designed to protect Bulb members, ensuring there’s no change to your supply and your credit balance is protected.”
Bulb will continue to trade in the US, France and Spain and under the Energy Act 2011 energy supplies will continue for their customers and the credit balances are protected.
