Russian troops ‘escape from the battlefield’ and run away as Ukraine confirms more areas in Kherson are being ‘liberated’

The Russian army in the major city of Kherson are being annihilated daily in fierce fighting which is seeing many Russian’s “escaping from the battlefield.”

Ukrainian forces have “confirmed” 53 settlements have now been “liberated” in the Kherson region which will be a major blow for the Kremlin.

Shortly after the “first phase” of the war Vladimir Putin captured many regions within the Kherson Oblast which is located north of Crimea in southern Ukraine.

Acting Governor Dmytro Butriy said, “As of now, 53 settlements have been confirmed as liberated.”

Reuters said this “appeared to indicate a quickening tempo of Ukrainian gains in the region.”

Butriy also said Russian service members are visiting the homes of local residents in Kherson Oblast and swap military uniforms for plain clothes then run away.

Butriy said on Telegram, “According to residents of various districts across the region, the occupiers are very scared.

“They go to the houses of locals and change into civilian clothes to escape from the battlefield.”

The governor added there has been no electricity or water supply since the beginning of the war due to consistent shelling, many settlements are on the brink of destruction.
