The founder of the Russian Volunteer Corps (RVC) has said their fighters are committed to ensure there will be no “sham elections” for Vladimir Putin to take place on any of the territories which border Ukraine, Ukrainian media outlet Pravda reported.

The statement continued: “Peaceful residents should not suffer from war, and any victims in the course of hostilities will be on the conscience of Starovoyt and Gladkov.

“We demand that the governors stop carrying out the criminal orders of the Putin junta and not prevent the evacuation of civilians from the war zone who have already decided to leave their homes and save the lives of their families.

“The operation to liberate the Kursk and Belgorod regions will continue until all the goals are achieved.” Victory will be ours.”

“The danger of drone attacks has been declared in the region. It is reported that a shooting battle is also taking place in Grayvoron (on video), Belgorod region.”
