North Korean troops have likely come under fire in Kursk as Pyonjang is recieving space technology and money

North Korean troops have come under fire by Ukrainian forces in the Kursk Oblast region after Pyonhang has deployed between 10,000 and 12,000 troops.

Pyonjang is receiving food, money and space technology as payment The Korea Herald newspaper reports, and it is believed that North Korea will launch another military reconnaissance satellite.

Wi Sung-lac, South Korean of the parliamentary intelligence committee told the paper the DPRK soldiers are said to be receiving $2,000 a month from Moscow which is a total of $200 million based on 10,000 troops.

Sung-lac said, “The 4 million tons of grains that North Korea says it produces per year are actually about 1 million tons short of what it needs to feed the country.

“If Russia is offering 600,000 to 700,000 tons of rice, that is enough to cover more than half of what North Korea would need to meet the year’s demand.”

The head of the counter-disinformation department at Ukraine‘s National Security and Defense Council, Andrii Kovalenko said the first North Korean soldiers in the Kursk region have engaged in fighting.

Kovalenko did not offer any more information over the details of the engagement of fire or any losses.

Since Ukraine started their incursion into the Kursk region inside Russia there has been heavy fighting between the two sides.

The North Korean troops will help bolster Russia’s military numbers to attack Ukrainian forces to push them off the Russian Federation.
