Commuter chaos as all trains at Waterloo station are cancelled


Rush hour commuters have been warned of major delays at Waterloo Station On Friday morning, all trains in and out of the station have been cancelled.

Engineering works has over run affecting around 100,000 commuters, National Rail said there was an “electrical issue.”

National Rail said services started running this morning, but the disruptions will last until this afternoon.

A National Rail spokesperson said, “We apologise to passengers for the disruption to services across the south western network this morning owing to a possession overrun.

“Disruption, including severe delays and cancellations, will last until the afternoon. Passengers should check with their train operator or visit www.nationalrail.co.uk before travelling.”
