DIY retailer Homebase has been named as Britain’s worst website for an online shopping experience, according to a new poll by the consumer group Which?.
A Homebase spokesman said: “Customer feedback is really important to us, and we are working hard to make changes online to provide great service when customers shop with us.”
For the survey, more than 10,000 people were asked to rate shopping sites on a number of factors including price, product range, and the returns process.
The DIY retailer received a satisfaction rating of just 55 per cent, with shoppers finding the website difficult to navigate and lacking up-to-date information. Dorothy Perkins and Sports Direct came joint second bottom of the list, both managing a 61 per cent score.
