The US Presidential election is on a knife edge and Joe Biden is currently in the lead, and President Trump who is a Republican has said he has won and has alleged election fraud.

Biden, who is a Democrat, has claimed that he is on track to winning the 2020 US Presidential election. However, it is far too early for either candidate to claim any victory, and it has been reported that there is no evidence of fraud.

To be elected as the next President, the candidate must win at least 270 votes, which is called the electoral college.

At the time of writing Biden had 224 votes, with Trump on 213 votes.

Each of the 50 US States have a certain number of votes, due in part based on population and there is the potential of 538 votes available.

It is expected that Trump will keep the state of Florida, which will be a major boost for him.
