Switzerland set to be added to UK quarantine list this weekend

Switzerland will “almost certainly” be added to the UK’s quarantine list this weekend, following a rise in coronavirus cases.

The British government’s threshold which triggers a country being added to the quarantine list, is a seven-day rate of 20 cases per 100,000 population.

Switzerland currently stands at 20.7 cases per 100,000 population, and according to The Times newspaper, it will be added to the list this weekend.

All travellers from Switzerland entering Scotland must all ready quarantine for two-weeks.
