Penny Mordaunt was briefly joint-favourite with Rishi Sunak to be the next Tory leader after being backed into 9/4 from 5/1 overnight, but the former chancellor has moved back in front at 15/8 to succeed Boris Johnson.
Other contenders include Liz Truss (9/2), Tom Tugendhat (14/1) and Kemi Badenoch (14/1), Rishi Sunak (1/4) and Penny Mordaunt (4/5) remain the clear favourites to be the final two candidates in the Conservative leadership contest
Meanwhile, Labour’s hopes of a General Election to take place this year seem unlikely at 15/1.
