Russia claims ‘de facto – Britain is at war with us’ as ‘British forces are in the conflict’ and Putin ‘should aim hypersonic Sarmat at UK’

Kremlin state TV has said that “Britain is at war with us” and that “British forces” are operating in the war in Ukraine and Vladimir Putin must now aim nuclear hypersonic Sarmat at the UK.

Russian political scientist Vladimir Kornilov said the death of Jordan Gatley who was killed over the weekend after being shot dead is proof that the British Army are actively fighting in Ukraine against Russian troops.

Jordan Gately was a former British Army soldier who ended his service in March, in that same month he then volunteered to fight in Ukraine as was not a member of the British armed forces at that time.

Kornilov said on the Kremlin’s state TV, “I read his father’s Facebook post, his father’s grief, understandably. He lost his son.

“But he writes there that he served in the British Army until March this year, and then he decided – this is very important – to continue serving in other regions.

“So he didn’t even consider it as leaving. As I understand it, he didn’t leave.

“So he must have been reassigned to some service.”

Putin’s voice, propagandist Vladimir Solovyov claimed, “The father de facto admits the involvement of British forces in the conflict.”

Kornilov responded, “Quite right… under British law, if he really joined some other foreign army and is fighting against a country that is not officially at war with Britain, he is a mercenary.

“So it turns out that Britain is now glorifying these mercenaries as heroes and admitting the fact of war with the Russian Federation.

“There is no other explanation.”

Solovyov concluded, “So – de facto – Britain is at war with us.”

He added, “So it is up to comrade Rogozin [Putin’s space chief]” that he should aim nuclear hypersonic Sarmat missiles at the UK.
