Vladimir Putin’s former advisor Sergei Karaganov has strongly urged for nuclear weapons to be launched against NATO.

Karaganov called on Putin to attack a NATO country with the “limited use” of a nuclear weapon and claimed the alliance would not respond.

He told Russian newspaper Kommersant that Russia has the “right to respond” to any strikes inside Russia by Ukraine using Western supplied long-ranger cruise missiles.

The Russian despot has also warned NATO and the West in a direct message the use of long-range supplied weaponry inside the Russian Federation will result in Moscow declaring “war” with the alliance and their allies.

Karaganov told Kommersant, “The assertion that any limited use of nuclear weapons will necessarily lead to a general nuclear Armageddon does not stand up to criticism.

He added, “I am not calling for a dangerous path, I am calling for saving the world and Russia. Either we win this war, or we fall apart.

Karaganov reminded Putin that Russia has the “right to respond to any massive strikes on our territory with a nuclear strike.”

He continued that Russia’s nuclear doctrine “should be to ensure that all current and future enemies are sure that Russia is ready to use nuclear weapons.”

Russia’s Defence Minister said at a security conference in China on Friday there is a real potential for conflict between nuclear powers.

RIA news agency quoted Alexander Fomin who is in Beijing saying, “In order to ensure conditions for forcibly coercing Russia into negotiations according to Kyiv’s formulas, NATO countries are making plans to send their troops to Ukraine.”

Fomin warned the West the Kremlin could “combine potential” with Beijing if war is declared against NATO or the West.
