Energy giant Npower has lost another 102,000 customers and they firm has taken a hit from Ofgem’s energy price cap.
The German group Innogy who own Npower posted a £39m underlying loss during the first quarter, against earning of £37m the previous year.
UK revenues fell by 5.6% to £1.7bn.
Over the course of 2019 the energy giant plans to cut 900 jobs and talks started in February with unions.
The firm is forecasting retail earnings to drop by as much as £260m to £347m for 2019, down from £568m in 2018.
