Whisky 1901, the specialist in rare single malt whisky cask investment, has released the latest addition to its curated Collection: a 25-year-old single cask whisky from the remote Hebridean island distillery of Jura.

Limited to just 227 bottles, this cask was distilled on 28 September 1998 and bottled on 18 November 2025. It offers a compelling opportunity for collectors and private investors seeking exclusivity, provenance, and portfolio diversification with a sensory edge.

“This bottling captures a moment in whisky history that cannot be repeated,” said Aaron Sparkes, Founder and Managing Director of Whisky 1901. “For our clients, it’s not just about owning a bottle, it’s about owning a story no one else can tell.”

The whisky is drawn from a single ex-bourbon cask (#2163) and bottled at natural cask strength (54.7% ABV), with no chill-filtration or colouring. On the nose, it delivers vibrant notes of vanilla pod, honeycomb and lemon curd, backed by delicate peat smoke.

The palate is rich and complex, evolving from lemon meringue and apricot to chocolate, baking spices, and coastal warmth. The finish lingers with oak, citrus, and a peppery fade. The Jura joins The Collection – Whisky 1901’s series of one-of-a-kind cask discoveries – offering investors tangible assets that combine emotional value with financial potential.

Each bottle is presented individually and will be offered initially to private clients and long-term partners of Whisky 1901.
