NatWest and RBS have announced on Monday that they are to close 32 branches across England and Wales as customers are now using online services more.
“As with many industries, most of our customers are shifting to mobile and online banking, because it’s faster and easier for people to manage their financial lives,” the bank said.
RBS will close 11 branches and NatWest will close 21 of their sites, but they did not say when this will happen.
