MI6 to recruit ‘tech savvy’ 18-year old school leavers

The Secret Intelligence Service (SIS) or more commonly known as MI6 are to cut their minimum employment age from 21 to 18.

SIS want to attract talented tech savvy teenagers across the UK and other areas such as business support, trade, finance and HR.

Individuals who want to apply have to be a born or naturalised British citizen and will have to of lived in the UK for eight out of the past 10-years.

The wanna be spies will have to have at least five GCSEs from grade A to E, with language grades to A to C and maths and English.

SIS chief Sir Alex Younger celebrated the move and invited a group of 30 teenagers to MI6 headquarters at Vauxhall Cross HQ in London.

Sir Alex told the group of 14-to-19-year-olds,”Your generation is key.”

“We are in a time of dynamic change and the relationship particularly with technology is going to be the thing that gives us our edge in the future.”
