Google chief Sundar Pichai will be testifying before the US Congress today. Topics including Project Dragonfly, political bias and data collection could all be on the agenda.
The hearing is scheduled to start at 10:00 local time (15:00 GMT) in Washington DC.
Pichai had previously failed to appear at a Senate Intelligence Committee hearing for top technology executives in September. That hearing was attended by Facebook’s chief operating officer Sheryl Sandberg and Twitter’s chief executive Jack Dorsey.
Pichai’s appearance comes eight months after members of Congress grilled Facebook’s CEO Mark Zuckerberg over issues like fake news and Russian misinformation.
