The British Foreign Secretary, Dominic Raab has warned people to come back to the UK now, whilst you still can.

The Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) said on Monday, “Today’s update reflects the pace at which international travel is becoming more difficult with the closure of borders, airlines suspending flights, airports closing, exit bans and further restrictions being introduced daily.”

The FCO warned closures to air route could happen within 48 hours and possibly without any notice. Many British citizens have already faced problems trying to get back to the UK as countries are either in lockdown or or it is very difficult to get a flight.

Raab warned, if you do not return now, then you may be stranded abroad.

There are now more than 366, 900 cases of coronavirus across the world, with a death toll of 16,097, and more than 100,400 people have fully recovered.

The British Prime Minister is to give a statement to the nation at 8:30pm on Monday evening, in response to the coronavirus pandemic sweeping across the UK.
