From Monday dozens of countries will now be exempt from the 14-day UK travel quarantine, government sources have indicated.
Since 8 June Home Secretary Priti Patel enforced the compulsory two-week quarantine laws meaning people would have to self-isolate for 14-days.
By the end of this week it is expected that the government will publish a list of countries that could be exempt from the 8 June law.
From 6 July we could see a list of up to 75 countries that are deemed to be lows or very low risk, which will be exempt from the UK’s quarantine period.
