The package was financed in cooperation with Germany, the Danish Ministry of Defense announced.

Danish Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen said, “Ukraine can count on Denmark’s unwavering support in the fight for freedom.

“This is support that is critical to the continuation of Ukraine’s struggle.

“This donation also sends an important signal to both Ukraine and Russia that we are not losing attention [to Ukraine], although most of the world’s attention these days is directed towards Israel and Palestine.”

The Danish Defense Minister Troels Lund Poulsen said, “I met with my Ukrainian counterpart in Kyiv on Tuesday. It was on the basis of ongoing negotiations that the 13th Danish aid package was drawn up.
