Aviva Investors strengthens Multi-Asset team with two Portfolio Manager hires

Aviva Investors, the asset management arm of Aviva PLC, has appointed Dean Cook as Multi-Asset Portfolio Manager. He is based in London and reports to Sunil Krishnan, Head of Multi-Asset Funds. He joins a six-strong team who oversee over £95bn across a range of multi-asset portfolios.

Dean joins following six years at M&G where he was latterly Multi-Asset Portfolio Analyst. Prior to this, he was an Investment & Financial Risk Manager at the firm. He began his career as an Investment Analyst at Duncan Lawrie Private Bank.

In addition to this new hire, Harriet Ballard also recently joined the team as Multi-Asset Portfolio Manager. Harriet previously worked in the Aviva Investors Investment Strategy team, where she contributed to the formation of the ‘House View’ and the portfolio idea generation process. Prior to this she was at a Macro Hedge Fund, COMAC Capital as a Multi-Asset Strategist.

Aviva Investors has over 40 years’ experience in multi-asset solutions. Its multi-asset funds are risk-profiled and globally diversified, using in-house asset allocation and building blocks. It has two key ranges: MAF Core, a simple multi-asset solution that invests in Growth and Defensive assets and MAF Plus, a more actively-managed solution. Both ranges apply their own approach to integrating ESG factors into investment selection.
