An analyst has warned that the Western world is “going to lose 100% of its political credibility” as we are on the brink of “historical betrayal.”

Michale Clarke told Sky News that with the US President Donald Trump sidelining Ukraine from peace negotiations, it is looking likely that “Ukraine will lose 20% of its territory.”

Clarke told Sky News, “Sadly, I think we’re on the edge of a historic betrayal of historic proportions.

“It looks as if Ukraine is going to lose close to 20% of its territory and the Western world is going to lose 100% of its political credibility.

“The Western world as a construct is dead. It’s been sliding fast the last few years, but in recent weeks it’s been the final nails in the coffin.”

He warned the world is now living in a “new imperialism” as three world leaders all want to do a massive land grab.

Putin not interested to end the war unless Ukraine ‘capitulates completely’

Trump wants Canada, Greenland and Panama, the Chinese President Xi Jinping wants Taiwan and Vladimir Putin wants Ukraine.

Clarke said, “Vladimir Putin has been clear in where he wants to enlarge his country, Xi Jinping has made it very clear he wants to enlarge his country into Taiwan and the South China Sea, and Donald Trump is determined to enlarge his country.

He’s pretty serious about taking Greenland and about Panama and Canada.

He added, “We’re living in very dark days, I’m afraid.”

Analysts from the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) has said that Putin is not interested in ending the war unless Ukraine “capitulates completely.”

The ISW said that Putin and Kremlin officials have “not abandoned their original war aims in Ukraine and continue to invoke their goals of ‘denazifying’ and ‘demilitarising’ Ukraine and banning Ukraine’s ability to join any security blocs in the future, despite Russia’s failure to defeat Ukraine militarily over the last three years.”

Even though the US President Donald Trump believes a peace deal can be done, although Puttin is rejecting the peace agreement with Kyiv as he still has an appetite to continue with the war.

The ISW wrote, “Putin continues to signal to the Russian military and society that he will not end the war until Ukraine capitulates completely and that he has no interest in a negotiated peace agreement that requires Russia to compromise its long-standing war aims, despite Putin’s efforts to signal interest in peace negotiations to Western leaders.”
