Aldi are planning to partner with Deliveroo to deliver groceries to homes for the first time in the UK, and the trial will start from Monday.
The Daleside Road, Aldi store in Nottingham will be the first to trial the launch then it will be extended to other stores in the Midlands from June.
Customers will be able to receive over 150 products through the Deliveroo app and will be delivered within “30 minutes.”
Giles Hurley, chief executive officer of Aldi UK and Ireland, said: “We hope the new trial with Deliveroo will provide more customers with access to great quality, affordable food at Aldi.
“This is a new and exciting venture for Aldi and we will be constantly reviewing how we can best serve our customers and continue to provide them with the high quality products they are used to in store.”
