President Volodymyr Zelensky has said Ukraine’s newly developed long-range ballistic missile has now passed all “flight tests.”

The long-range Palianytsia drone missile is now being used to target Russian targets by Ukrainian forces, which will concern some Western leaders amid the Kremlin’s threats.

President Zelensky said, “Our new ballistic missile has successfully passed flight tests. The Neptune missiles are being successfully used, and up to 20 Bohdana artillery systems are produced each month.”

The Ukrainian drone missile Palianytsia took around 18 months to develop, and it took its first test flight on 24 August this year.

Ukraine has not divulged the range, the type of warhead any of its characteristics or how many of the missiles they have developed.

The cost of the drone is cheaper than other types of missiles and President Zelensky said that they are “increasing production.”
