Uber has hired Melinda Roylett as the new boss for the UK and Ireland.
Roylett, who is the former head of Europe at digital payment company Square, started her role today.
One of her key duties will be to get Transport for London on side. TfL rejected Uber’s licence renewal in 2017, whereupon it was granted a probation of 15 months, which expires on 25 September.
