The missing pair of red-sequined slippers worn by actress Judy Garland in the 1939 film “The Wizard of Oz” has finally been recovered by the FBI. Further details are expected later today.
The iconic slippers were stolen from a Minnesota museum 13 years ago when someone went through a window and broke into the small display case. The shoes were insured for $1m.
The shoes are reportedly made from different materials including wood pulp, silk thread, gelatin, plastic, and glass.
