Ukrainian Special Operations Forces have confirmed they have successfully attacked the Lukoil owned Stavrolen petrochemical complex in Budyonnovsk, southern Russia.
The Deep Strike unit of Special Operations Forces attacked the industrial zone in Budyonnovsk using drones.
Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed that they intercepted 22 drones overnight in Stavropol Krai and Budyonnovsk.
“Numerous explosions and a fire were recorded in the target area. The results of the strike are being clarified,” Ukraine’s General Staff said.
Supernova+, a Ukrainian Telegram channel said there was “at least three direct hits” on Stavrolen petrochemical plant and local residents reported loud explosions, the Kyiv Independent reported.
Stavropol Krai Governor Vladimir Vladimirov wrote on Telegram, “According to preliminary data, there are no casualties, residential buildings have not been damaged, and life support systems are operating normally.”
Ukraine‘s Special Operations Forces said, “On the night of 12 November, Deep Strike units of the Special Operations Forces carried out a successful fire strike on the Stavrolen petrochemical plant in Budyonnovsk, Stavropol Krai, Russia.”

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said, “The plant has a full cycle of processing hydrocarbon raw materials and produces polymers for the production of composite materials, body parts, seals and insulation for various types of Russian army equipment.
“Among other things, it also produces components for UAVs. Numerous explosions and a fire were recorded in the area of the target.
“The results of the damage are being clarified,” the General Staff Telegram reported.

“In addition, in order to reduce the enemy’s offensive capabilities, an ammunition depot was hit in the temporarily occupied village of Novy Svit, Kalmiusk district, Donetsk region. “The target was hit and explosions were recorded. The extent of the damage is being clarified.”
