The situation for Vladimir Putin is getting more serious by the day as he is facing mutiny from within the Russian FSB which could be an attempt to incite the West into military action.

Ukraine-born Igor Sushko has published leaked letters from Putin’s secret service that a mutiny is in progress against the Russian President.

Sushko said that an agent of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia, formerly the Federal Counterintelligence Service, a successor to the KGB are turning against Putin with a large scale revolt.

The FSB whistleblower claims the revolt is starting against Putin because the leaked intelligence letters have not been “acted on by the West to respond to Putin with force to stop him.”

Sushko added, “This specifically is not an attempt by the FSB to overthrow Putin.

“This is an attempt by a group inside the FSB to convince the West to respond militarily to Putin’s aggression so it stops.”

Another leaked letter written by an FSB analyst, came to light by Vladimir Osechkin who is a Russian human rights activist.

The letter which has been verified by Bellingcat, warned the total number of Russian soldiers killed could have exceeded 10,000, this was later confirmed by the Russian Ministry of Defence.

Senior research fellow on the Russia and Eurasia Programme at Chatham House, Nikolai Petrov told Express.co.uk, “It is understandable that the war is going on in a way, which was not planned and was not expected by Putin.

“He should look for those who are responsible, who misinformed him, who did not provide preparations.

“So, we will see many more serious moves and punishments, perhaps within medium level or even top level siloviki in the near future.

“But it doesn’t mean that there is a kind of internal opposition, which can come to the surface.”
