The British Prime Minister Liz Truss has said that Vladimir Putin has “been outsmarted by the Ukrainians” and the West should ignore his “saber rattling” with his bogus threats of nuclear war.

Putin and his cronies have continuously given warning of a nuclear strike and last week the West and Ukraine were warned that any attack on Russian occupied territories will be an attack on Moscow.

Truss gave an interview with CNN, and she said that Putin had made a strategic mistake by launching a full-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Truss said, “I think he has been outsmarted by the Ukrainians. We’ve seen the Ukrainians continue to push back against the Russian offensive.

“And I think he didn’t anticipate the strength of reaction from the free world.”

She added that Putin ordered the immediate escalation of the war because he “isn’t winning the war” and he realises that he has lost and is now trying to protect his authority within the Kremlin.

In addition, Truss told Western leaders that we “should not be listening to Putin’s saber-rattling and his bogus threats.”

She added, “Instead, what we need to do is continue to put sanctions on Russia and continue to support the Ukrainians.”
