Retail behemoth Marks and Spencer is set to cut hundreds of jobs amid the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
An announcement about job losses could come within days, Sky News has reported.
Total redundancies could potentially hit several thousand when existing restructuring plans are taken into account.
A total of 27,000 M&S employees – out of a total of 78,000 – were furloughed under the government’s programme to discourage companies from laying off workers.
