Ladbrokes owner GVC Holdings are on track to deliver double digit growth on their online business.
Net gaming revenue (NGR) was up 17% for online betting in the three months to 31 March, this compromised 16% growth and gaming was up by 20%.
Like-for-like revenue in UK retail was flat however, European betting shops had a 2% growth, and the total group NGR was up 8% for the period.
Kenneth Alexander, chief executive said the results showed a continuing “strong trend” and represented an “excellent start to the year.”
“We continue to see good volume growth across all major online brands and territories and we remain very confident of achieving our target of double-digit online NGR growth.”
