In July 2022 the turnover for the UK legal sector has come in at £3.7bn. This is a rise of 2.2% from June 2022, according to the Office of National Statistics data that was released earlier this week.

To put these figures into context the UK Services Sector (including Legal) which had a turnover of £227bn, fell 6% from June 2022.

Julie Norris, Regulatory Partner, Legal Services at Kingsley Napley LLP said, “The UK’s legal industry remains robust despite the tumult of recent months.

“Firm leaders should as always review how various macro factors will change the landscape for their clients, their people, and their communities.”
