Ivanka 7/1 to be Trump’s UN Ambassador

Ivanka Trump sit’s an eye-catching fourth at 7/1 in Betway’s odds to replace Nikki Haley as US Ambassador to the UN.

Despite distancing herself from the job on Twitter, the President’s 36-year-old daughter is still quietly-fancied in the betting and not far behind 7/2 favourite Jon Huntsman, 9/2 shot Dina Powell and Richard Grenell, 13/2.

Haley, who will officially step down from her role at the end of this year, is now being backed to be Trump’s Vice-Presidential nominee at just 6/4. At bigger odds, Betway go 20/1 on her securing the Republican Presidential nomination and 50/1 to replace Trump in 2020.

Betway’s Alan Alger said: “Nikki Haley’s surprise resignation has left us all wondering who her replacement will be and bets are landing on one particularly interesting candidate, Ivanka Trump.

“Ivanka lacks an official position in the administration, and Trump himself said that his daughter would be ‘Dynamite’ in the role of US Ambassador to the UN. Despite Ivanka tweeting about her lack of interest, punters have a different idea and she is fancied at 7/1 to replace Haley.

“Nikki Haley has given herself a lot of flexibility with her resignation, and with the next Presidential election less than two years away, she may well be planning a run at either Vice-President, a 20/1chance, or to replace Trump himself at 50/1.”
