The Israeli Prime Minister has warned that Iran has made “a big mistake” attacking Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu has said that Tehran “will pay” for launching nearly 200 ballistic missiles.
On Tuesday evening Iran launched a barrage of almost 200 missiles on Israel and the attack was a “failure” and Tehran has been warned they will feel pain such as “enemies” in Lebanon and Gaza.
Netanyahu warned that “Whoever attacks us. We attack them.”
After the Iranian attack the Israeli Defence Force sent a message to the nation, “There is no damage to the competence of the Air Force and it will continue to attack tonight in the Middle East in a powerful way.

Daniel Hagari, the spokesperson for the IDF warned Israel will now “act at the place and time of our choosing, in accordance with the guidance of the political echelon.”
He said, “We are still investigating [the result of the attack] and do not want to give the enemy all the information.
“Iran carried out a serious act tonight and is pushing the Middle East to an escalation. We will act at the place and time of our choosing, in accordance with the guidance of the political echelon. Tonight’s event will have consequences.”
An Israeli diplomat said that Iran’s ballistic missiles attack looked “apocalyptic” and there has to be a response.
embassy spokeswoman Orly Goldschmidt told Sky News, “You had millions of Israelis that had to run to shelters.
“My whole family was there in the shelters. You only have a few minutes to run, because when the missile is launched, you only have 12 minutes until it can reach Israel.”
Iran is the “head of the axis of evil that is threatening Israel.”
She added, “We need to change this paradigm at the moment, and we need Israelis to be able to live in peace within our borders without being scared of being hit by ballistic missiles.
“This is not a reality that we can accept. We will have to respond to that strongly.”
