Despite what you might have heard, microwaving your iPhone will only end in tears (and possible injury). Do not do it.
It seems strange to have to write those words, and yet iOS8 users have reportedly fallen for a fake ad explaining with the new update iPhones can be charged in the microwave.

These images are unverified and we’re really hoping people aren’t stupid enough to do this but we trust it goes without saying, the ad is a hoax. Microwaving your iPhone will break it, and possibly your microwave too.
