Dominic Raab is just 4/1 to follow fellow Tory Matt Hancock into the I’m a Celebrity jungle after quitting as deputy prime minister.

Raab announced his resignation last week after an independent inquiry found he had bullied civil service staff.

And with his political career in tatters, the former foreign secretary is now being tipped to follow hapless Hancock’s bid to reinvent himself by trying to become a TV celebrity.

OLBG make him 4/1 to be on the next series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, after ITV producers gained huge publicity taking Hancock to Australia.

But being targeted by BBC execs to appear in their flagship Strictly Come Dancing line-up this winter is seen as a huge long shot, rated at 33/1.

Raab’s reputation as a confrontational Deputy PM sees him 8/1 to opt to test his strength by signing up for the next series of SAS Who Dares Wins.

The MP has been a central part of government during some of the most turbulent times in recent history, and in his resignation letter has already started going after his enemies – so a tell-all book deal is priced at 6/1.

A career in business is seen as the most likely next step, with Raab only a 11/8 shot to reappear as a consultant for a City brokerage firm.

OLBG: Next step for Dominic Raab

City brokerage consultant 11/8

I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! 4/1

Tell-all book deal 6/1

SAS Who Dares Wins 8/1

Strictly Come Dancing 33/1

An OLBG spokesperson said: “Raab is not going down without a fight and that’s why a tell-all book is 6/1 to be released. He will know where plenty of skeletons are hidden and doesn’t seem scared to take anyone down who has crossed him.

“Matt Hancock was such a controversial figure in the Jungle, but he got huge publicity which is what the TV bosses want so they could easily repeat the trick by going for someone like Raab.”
