Armed robbers have stolen over 600 rolls of toilet paper from a delivery man outside a supermarket in Honk Kong on Monday morning.

Due to the coronavirus there are severe shortages of toilet rolls and panic buying has erupted, despite the government giving assurances supplies are unaffected.

Police said the armed robbery took place in the Mong Kok district and the knife wielding robbers stole HK$1,700 (£167) worth of toilet roll.

Police caught two members of the gang and a third remains on the run.
