Boris Johnson could be back at ‘work as soon as Monday’

The Prime Minister is planning to go back to “work as soon as Monday” and has told aides to schedule catch up meetings, according to the Telegraph.

In an interview with Sky News on Friday morning Matt Hancock said Johnson is in “good shape” and was asked will he back to work on Monday, he said, “We’ll see.”

The US President Donald Trump told reporters that Johnson “sounds incredible” when they spoke earlier this week.

Trump told reporters at the White House on Thursday, “I was actually surprised… he was ready to go.

“I’m very surprised to tell you this. It’s like the old Boris, tremendous energy, tremendous drive.”

He added, “Because he called me almost pretty close to when he got out of the hospital, I think he’s doing great.

“He was so sharp and energetic, pretty incredible.

“He’s an incredible guy.”

Meanwhile Trump has come under severe criticism, as  Dettol are warning against injecting any form of disinfectants into your body.

This comes after the US President Donald Trump suggested this could be used for coronavirus treatment.
