TouchNote, the world’s most popular postcard-sending service, is today announcing its financial results. The business, which is now profitable, made £5.1m in revenue for the year ended 31 December 2016, up from £3.4m the previous year.

TouchNote, which has diversified to offer greeting cards, canvasses, framed photos and photo prints boxes, recently unveiled its new look and rebrand. The new strategy positions TouchNote as the most thoughtful way to keep in touch and includes a stylish redesign. New features and products will be unveiled later this year to complement and reinforce the company’s fresh and distinctive identity.

The London-based scale-up, named 9th fastest growing tech company in Deloitte’s Fast 50 2015, is also gearing up to expand its marketing in the US, with a plan to set up in Los Angeles to help the company grow its booming business in North America.

Current chief product officer, Dan Ziv, has been appointed managing director for the UK and Rest of the World, with chief executive officer, Oded Ran, moving to LA later this year to spearhead the US expansion. TouchNote currently employs 30 people in the UK and will be adding to the team with new hires on both sides of the Atlantic.

TouchNote CEO Oded Ran said:“This is an exciting time for TouchNote as we establish ourselves as global leaders in the ‘phygital’ revolution that is taking hold at the moment. Taking the company into profit and launching in the US are major milestones on our journey to become a much loved household brand in the UK and the US.”
