Theresa May attends her last PMQs as PM

On Wednesday Theresa May the outgoing prime minister is taking PMQs for the last time and bidding farewell before Boris Johnson moves in to Downing Street.

May tod the House of Commons that she will continue to hold her post as constituency MP and is happy to be handing over to Johnson.

This afternoon May will give her farewell speech from Downing Street before Johnson take to the helm.

PMQs went on for more than an hour in the Commons making this one of the longest ever in history.

As Theresa May finished PMQs the whole House gave a standing ovation.
