Vladimir Putin has ordered the underwater drone that can create a “radioactive tidal wave” to be tested.

The Poseidon is Russia’s new underwater drone which Russian military expert Andrei Klintsevich has previously called on Putin to use it on the UK which will see a “wave wash over Britain.”

The military expert has previously stated that the Kremlin’s aim is to use the Poseidon to “wipe out” the UK with a “nuclear tidal wave.”

The Poseidon is a Status-6 Oceanic Multipurpose System which is a nuclear-powered underwater drone, it delivers a weapon which can deliver a huge nuclear warhead to any coastal target and it is Putin’s second nuclear weapon after the Burevestnik.

On Wednesday Putin told wounded soldiers at Mandryka Hospital, “Yesterday we conducted another test—another promising complex.

“This is an unmanned underwater product, ‘Poseidon,’ also with a nuclear power unit. For the first time we not only launched it from a submarine with a booster, but also started the atomic power unit, on which the device worked for a certain time

Putin added “It’s a huge success.”

He said that the Poseidon is impossible to detect or for it to be “intercepted” and “in terms of speed and depth, it has no analogues in the world.”

Putin said, “There is nothing like this in the world in terms of speeds and depths of movement; there is nothing comparable in the world and will hardly appear soon. There is no way to intercept it.”

The Russian dictator said that the Poseidon is far better than Russia’s news Sarmat Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) in performance and power.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov took aim at the US President and claimed that Russian submarine technology is 25-years ahead of all other militaries, after Donald Trump condemned the test.

Peskov said, “We are primarily guided by statements from our president as we develop our defence technology, our defense sector, which is of primary importance to us.”
