Several explosions rocked the city of Lviv on Wednesday morning which is close to the Polish border and children are among the casualties with at least seven killed and 47 injured in the attack.
A nationwide air alert rang out across Ukraine on Wednesday morning as Russian drone and “hypersonic missiles” rained down across the country.
Explosions rocked five cities this morning in Rivne, Sumy, Lutsk, Kyiv and casualties were also reported in Kryvyi Rih.

In Lviv seven were killed in the Russian attack, a 50-year-old nurse, a man with two girls aged nine and 14, which 47 in hospital, seven remain in a critical condition.
Polish fighter jets were scrambled over Poland’s airspace as a result of the explosions in response to the missile and drone attacks in western Ukraine, the Kyiv Independent reports.
On Tuesday Russia has targeted the city of Poltava (central Ukraine) injuring 219 and more than 50 people have been killed.
Many victims, including a 10 year old boy as the US continues forbidding Ukraine to stop the massacres.

This is the largest and deadliest attack since the war started on 24 February 2022 as Russian fired two ballistic missiles and there is a threat of a “double-tap-attack” in the city.
The attack happened at midday UK time, 2pm local time and there is still many trapped under rubble and rescuers and medical teams are working to free people, 25 have been rescued.
A medical facility and an education building was hit in the attack and the Military Institute of Communications was partially destroyed, the Kyiv Independent reports.
