Russian forces have been accused of “holding hostage over 400,000 people in Mariupol” and the Kremlin continues with “indiscriminate shelling” on the civilian population.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba accused Russia on Wednesday of shelling the southern Ukrainian port city.

Ukrainian officials have desperately tried to establish a safe evacuation corridor for civilians out of the city.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister wrote on Twitter, “Almost 3,000 newborn babies lack medicine and food.

“Russia continues holding hostage over 400,000 people in Mariupol, blocks humanitarian aid and evacuation. Indiscriminate shelling continues.”

Russia has denied targeting civilians and deny there is any war happening in Ukraine as they call a “special operation.”
