Vladimir Putin has issued a warning to Europe and the rest of the world that he will attack airports and “other means of transport” if NATO does not stop “flooding” Ukraine with weapons.
This is an “enormous risk” to aviation in “Europe and beyond” as Russia has warned this will their next target.
Maria Zakharova, the Russian foreign ministry spokeswoman said, “We call on EU and NATO countries to stop the thoughtless flooding of the unviable Kyiv regime with the latest weapons systems in order to avoid enormous risk to international civilian aviation and other means of transport in Europe and beyond.”

The UK are set to send the “world’s fastest surface-to-air missiles” to help Ukraine “better defend its skies”
The missiles travel at over three times the speed of sounds before spitting into three darts.
Defence Secretary Ben Wallace said: “This system will remain within the definition of defensive weapons but will allow the Ukrainian forces to better defend their skies.”
US vice president Kamala Harris said American missile systems have been placed in Poland and said America is prepared to defend “every inch” of NATO territory.
Speaking in Warsaw after meeting with the Polish president Andrzej Duda she confirmed the US are to send Patriot missiles which are surface-to-air missiles used by the US Armed Forces to target enemy projectiles.
